SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, 2009 GARDEN

My 2009 Garden starting in May.
Not to be forgotten, the Boss at my house and my constant companion.
This is my little Peewee. She is now 10 years old. You never saw a child as spoiled as Peewee is.

I am a gardener, among other things. Starting in the spring, the Hosta starts to parade in its green, blue and yellow finery. In the fall they bring forth their lavender, white and purple blossoms. The yellow has a 2 tone white with lavender throat.
On the right the blossoms of the Hostas with Purple Cone flower and Daisy blossoms, with a tiny patch of marigold in bottom left corner. I am a gardener, among other things. Starting in the spring, the Hosta starts to parade in its green, blue and yellow finery.
Following closely behind is my prize peony. It is the first plant I put in my garden---back when?
Then along come the Japanese Poppies. Reminds me of the poem: "Between the poppies, row on row" can't remember any more of it but they just grow all over the garden, in spots where either they have planted themselves or the birds have strewn the seen. They are beautiful but don't last long. After the blossom has dropped it petals following 2 or 3 days of red furls, it forms a pod inside of which are thousands of poppy seeds. No seed to save unless you wish to give some to a friend for cultivating. They re-seed and
re-seed and
re-seed and
re-seed.
I have hundreds of blossoms at once.
