In a way I'm anxious for spring to come. A dear friend sent me some perinneal Hibiscus seeds. Several of them rooted and grew to about 6 inches high this summer. Will they make it through the winter. Only God knows.
I do have an Oriental Hibiscus (an inside plant during winter) that gave me a beautiful blossom.

Weather has been so changeable here that from one day to the next, it is impossible to know what to schedule day by day. I was able to get some of the tons of leaves racked and put out to the street for the leave vacuum to come along and take them away with one big whoosh. What I have put out, is just a itty, bitty sample of what there is left already on the ground..
However, my big job will come near the end of the month when my Mulberry tree drops its foliage.
Well, for today, better get on with my quilting. Someday, I'll post a blog about the experiences with quuilts the last 3 years. Love It!
Love you all!
