White Dove in my Garden.

Happy Birthday, Daughter.
She is 42 years old today. Oh my, how time flys. Seems just a short time ago that she was a tot wandering around looking for dandelions. She now is a Mom of 3 and very happy to be so. With God's Blessing's she will reach the same old age as her Mom is now. God willing, I'll be around many more years to celebrate with her.
LOVE YOU!
==========Sunshine is beautiful today. Get's real cool at night. Yes, we need a blanket. Soon I'll change from just a sheet & blanket to my electric blanket. Then I can cuddle up with a good book and keep warm. Turn the furnace a little lower because of the gigantic cost of gas fuel.
It has been an excellent year for AC. Even though I like my house real cool because of the humidity, that bill has been less than average.
My schedule for today hasn't changed much from last Monday. Right now I'm drinking my 1 cup of coffee of the day. Like my son says," I have a big cup." His is 24 oz. and mine is only 12. My coffee maker is a 2 cup. Sometimes, I use a bigger cut and drink the whole thing.
Well, after straightening the house a little (a tiny little) will get to my sewing. Had to oil my sewing machine yesterday. It was beginning to sound like a thrashing machine. So, rather than work on my major project have to do an alternate one until any oil spills are gone, then back to my major for this month.
Keep watching, you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Did you ever wonder where the days, weeks, months and years go?
Oh, I have. Just this week in fact, I realized that Saturday, today, is August 1, 2009.
Where did my time go? What have I accomplished?
Well, to name a few, since Christmas 2007, I have constructed and quilted (by hand) 2 king sized quilts and several crib size and single bed size. This past 2 weeks, I'm working on my third quilt, this time a queen size. It is so rewarding. My son says I am an artist.
You know what, I feel like one. And God is so good to me. I was 81 years old last April and am still in sound health. Thank you, Lord.!
I am so blessed, I'm looking forward to more and more years. About the only spiritual active now I can participate in is praying for others and for situations and attempt to attend services weekly.
Just to let you know, those little crazy quilts I make are donated to the Veteran's Hospital in my area. My self and 3/4 others have made and donated over 200 in the last 3 years.
