Did you believe I would never come back?
Been busy, busy, busy. Moved to Wisconsin to a beautiful building in 2010 and have recently moved to an assisted living facility. It is not that I need the Assisted living, I'm still independent, but decisions were made for the future.
I have a friend with whom I travel around the town. We go to lunches, movies, play bingo and just tour around. I'm still driving.
Been doing lots of crocheting and quilt making. Have a c ouple of pictures if I can figure out how to post them. Well here goes:
am making this quilt for myself. It is 2/3 finished. Completly pieced and quilted on my little Brother sewing machine. The other 3rd is in the process. Squares are 5 inches and fabric is scraps left over from other projects.

January, with all it's snow and ice has come and gone. February is still hanging around. We still have about a six inch covering of snow on the ground but it is melting. Our last snow was 10 days ago and quilt a lot on top of the 8 inches we already had.
I have a Jack Russell Terrier mix. She weighs about 20 lbs. and has short legs. She is really a smart little canine, but also can show her ignorance sometimes.
She just 4 days ago, went outside and decided she was going to roam around the lawn. Golly, that dog got stuck in the deep snow. I'm not kidding you, she got stuck in the snow up about her hips. I don't go out on the ice and snow, so just yelled and told her to scratch, which she did. She got herself loose enough to turn around and face the house but still couldn't move. I kept telling her to scratched. She LOL scratched her way up to the patio. I laugh about it now, but at the time, it wasn't funny.

What a Blessing!

> YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW > >
"GOOD MORNING"
SAID A WOMAN AS SHE WALKED UP TO THE MAN SITTING ON GROUND.
THE MAN SLOWLY LOOKED UP.
THIS WAS A WOMAN CLEARLY ACCUSTOMED TO THE FINER THINGS OF LIFE. HER COAT WAS NEW.. SHE LOOKED LIKE SHE HAD NEVER MISSED A MEAL IN HER LIFE.
HIS FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT SHE WANTED TO MAKE FUN OF HIM, LIKE SO MANY OTHERS HAD DONE BEFORE.
"LEAVE ME ALONE," HE GROWLED....
TO HIS AMAZEMENT, THE WOMAN CONTINUED STANDING. SHE WAS SMILING -- HER EVEN WHITE TEETH DISPLAYED IN DAZZLING ROWS.
"ARE YOU HUNGRY?" SHE ASKED.
"NO," HE ANSWERED SARCASTICALLY. "I'VE JUST COME FROM DINING WITH THE> PRESIDENT. NOW GO AWAY."
THE WOMAN'S SMILE BECAME EVEN BROADER. SUDDENLY THE MAN FELT A GENTLE HAND UNDER HIS ARM. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, LADY?" THE MAN ASKED ANGRILY. "I SAID TO LEAVE ME> ALONE.
JUST THEN A POLICEMAN CAME UP. "IS THERE ANY PROBLEM, MA'AM?" HE ASKED..
"NO PROBLEM HERE, OFFICER," THE WOMAN ANSWERED. "I'M JUST TRYING TO GET THIS MAN TO HIS FEET.. WILL YOU HELP ME?"
THE OFFICER SCRATCHED HIS HEAD.
"THAT'S OLD JACK. HE'S BEEN A FIXTURE AROUND HERE FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH HIM?"
"SEE THAT CAFETERIA OVER THERE?" SHE ASKED. "I'M GOING TO GET HIM SOMETHING TO EAT AND GET HIM OUT OF THE COLD FOR AWHILE."
"ARE YOU CRAZY, LADY?" THE HOMELESS MAN RESISTED. "I DON'T WANT TO GO IN> THERE!" THEN HE FELT STRONG HANDS GRAB HIS OTHER ARM AND LIFT HIM UP. "LET> ME GO, OFFICER. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING." > >
" THIS IS A GOOD DEAL FOR YOU, JACK" THE OFFICER ANSWERED.
"DON'T BLOW IT."> > >
FINALLY, AND WITH SOME DIFFICULTY, THE WOMAN AND THE POLICE OFFICER GOT JACK> INTO THE CAFETERIA AND SAT HIM AT A TABLE IN A REMOTE CORNER. IT WAS THE> MIDDLE OF THE MORNING, SO MOST OF THE BREAKFAST CROWD HAD ALREADY LEFT AND> THE LUNCH BUNCH HAD NOT YET ARRIVED.... > >
THE MANAGER STRODE ACROSS THE CAFETERIA AND STOOD BY HIS TABLE. "WHAT'S> GOING ON HERE, OFFICER?" HE ASKED. "WHAT IS ALL THIS, IS THIS MAN IN> TROUBLE?" > > "THIS LADY BROUGHT THIS MAN IN HERE TO BE FED," THE POLICEMAN ANSWERED. > >
"NOT IN HERE!" THE MANAGER REPLIED ANGRILY. "HAVING A PERSON LIKE THAT HERE> IS BAD FOR BUSINESS." > > OLD JACK SMILED A TOOTHLESS GRIN. "SEE, LADY. I TOLD YOU SO. NOW IF YOU'LL> LET ME GO. I DIDN'T WANT TO COME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE." > > THE WOMAN TURNED TO THE CAFETERIA MANAGER AND SMILED..
"SIR, ARE YOU> FAMILIAR WITH EDDY AND ASSOCIATES, THE BANKING FIRM DOWN THE STREET?" > > "OF COURSE I AM," THE MANAGER ANSWERED IMPATIENTLY. "THEY HOLD THEIR WEEKLY> MEETINGS IN ONE OF MY BANQUET ROOMS." > > "AND DO YOU MAKE A GOODLY AMOUNT OF MONEY PROVIDING FOOD AT THESE WEEKLY> MEETINGS?" > > "WHAT BUSINESS IS THAT OF YOURS?" > > I, SIR, AM PENELOPE EDDY, PRESIDENT AND CEO OF THE COMPANY." > >
"OH." > > THE WOMAN SMILED AGAIN. "I THOUGHT THAT MIGHT MAKE A DIFFERENCE." SHE> GLANCED AT THE COP WHO WAS BUSY STIFLING A GIGGLE.
"WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN> US IN A CUP OF COFFEE AND A MEAL, OFFICER?" > > "NO THANKS, MA'AM," THE OFFICER REPLIED. "I'M ON DUTY." > > "THEN, PERHAPS, A CUP OF COFFEE TO GO?"> >
"YES, MAM. THAT WOULD BE VERY NICE." > > THE CAFETERIA MANAGER TURNED ON HIS HEEL, "I'LL GET YOUR COFFEE FOR YOU> RIGHT AWAY, OFFICER." > > THE OFFICER WATCHED HIM WALK AWAY. "YOU CERTAINLY PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE," HE> SAID. > > "THAT WAS NOT MY INTENT. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I HAVE A REASON FOR ALL THIS."> > > SHE SAT DOWN AT THE TABLE ACROSS FROM HER AMAZED DINNER GUEST. SHE STARED AT> HIM INTENTLY..
"JACK, DO YOU REMEMBER ME?" > > OLD JACK SEARCHED HER FACE WITH HIS OLD, RHEUMY EYES. "I THINK SO -- I MEAN> YOU DO LOOK FAMILIAR." > > "I'M A LITTLE OLDER PERHAPS," SHE SAID. "MAYBE I'VE EVEN FILLED OUT MORE> THAN IN MY YOUNGER DAYS WHEN YOU WORKED HERE, AND I CAME THROUGH THAT VERY> DOOR, COLD AND HUNGRY." > >
"MA'AM?" THE OFFICER SAID QUESTIONINGLY. HE COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT SUCH A> MAGNIFICENTLY TURNED OUT WOMAN COULD EVER HAVE BEEN HUNGRY. > > "I WAS JUST OUT OF COLLEGE," THE WOMAN BEGAN. "I HAD COME TO THE CITY> LOOKING FOR A JOB, BUT I COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. FINALLY I WAS DOWN TO MY> LAST FEW CENTS AND HAD BEEN KICKED OUT OF MY APARTMENT. I WALKED THE STREETS> FOR DAYS. IT WAS FEBRUARY AND I WAS COLD AND NEARLY STARVING. I SAW THIS> PLACE AND WALKED IN ON THE OFF CHANCE THAT I COULD GET SOMETHING TO EAT." >
> JACK LIT UP WITH A SMILE. "NOW I REMEMBER," HE SAID. "I WAS BEHIND THE> SERVING COUNTER. YOU CAME UP AND ASKED ME IF YOU COULD WORK FOR SOMETHING> TO EAT. I SAID THAT IT WAS AGAINST COMPANY POLICY." > >
"I KNOW," THE WOMAN CONTINUED. "THEN YOU MADE ME THE BIGGEST ROAST BEEF> SANDWICH THAT I HAD EVER SEEN, GAVE ME A CUP OF COFFEE, AND TOLD ME TO GO> OVER TO A CORNER TABLE AND ENJOY IT. I WAS AFRAID THAT YOU WOULD GET INTO> TROUBLE... THEN, WHEN I LOOKED OVER AND SAW YOU PUT THE PRICE OF MY FOOD IN> THE CASH REGISTER, I KNEW THEN THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE ALL RIGHT." > >
"SO YOU STARTED YOUR OWN BUSINESS?" OLD JACK SAID. > > "I GOT A JOB THAT VERY AFTERNOON. I WORKED MY WAY UP. EVENTUALLY I STARTED> MY OWN BUSINESS THAT, WITH THE HELP OF GOD, PROSPERED." SHE OPENED HER PURSE> AND PULLED OUT A BUSINESS CARD.. "WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED HERE, I WANT YOU TO> PAY A VISIT TO A MR. LYONS...HE'S THE PERSONNEL DIRECTOR OF MY COMPANY. I'LL> GO TALK TO HIM NOW AND I'M CERTAIN HE'LL FIND SOMETHING FOR YOU TO DO AROUND> THE OFFICE." SHE SMILED. "I THINK HE MIGHT EVEN FIND THE FUNDS TO GIVE YOU> A LITTLE ADVANCE SO THAT YOU CAN BUY SOME CLOTHES AND GET A PLACE TO LIVE> UNTIL YOU GET ON YOUR FEET... IF YOU EVER NEED ANYTHING, MY DOOR IS ALWAYS> OPENED TO YOU." > >
THERE WERE TEARS IN THE OLD MAN'S EYES. "HOW CAN I EVER THANK YOU?" HE SAID.> > > "DON'T THANK ME," THE WOMAN ANSWERED. "TO GOD GOES THE GLORY. THANK JESUS...> HE LED ME TO YOU." > > OUTSIDE THE CAFETERIA, THE OFFICER AND THE WOMAN PAUSED AT THE ENTRANCE> BEFORE GOING THEIR SEPARATE WAYS... > >
"THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP, OFFICER," SHE SAID. > > "ON THE CONTRARY, MS. EDDY," HE ANSWERED. "THANK YOU. I SAW A MIRACLE TODAY,> SOMETHING THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET. AND..AND THANK YOU FOR THE COFFEE." > > IF YOU HAVE MISSED KNOWING ME, YOU HAVE MISSED NOTHING. > > IF YOU HAVE MISSED SOME OF MY EMAILS, YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED A LAUGH.. > > BUT, IF YOU HAVE MISSED KNOWING MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, YOU HAVE> MISSED EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD. > > HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY. It's Wintertime For Me

GOOD MORNING
It's winter before we know it...
You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years.
It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate.

And yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all...
And I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams... But, here it is... the winter of my life and it catches me by surprise... How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my babies go?
And where did my youth go? I remember well... seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like... But, here it is..

my friends are retired and really getting gray... they move slower and I see an older person now. Lots are in better shape than me... but, I see the great change... Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant... but, like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we'd be.
Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore... it's mandatory! Cause if I don't on my own free will... I just fall asleep where I sit!
And so, now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!!!
But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I'm not sure how long it will last... this I know, that when it's over... its over... Yes , I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn't done,,, things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I'm happy to have done. It's all in a lifetime...
So if you're not in your winter yet... let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly! Don't put things off too long!!!
Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can today, as you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not!
You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life...so, live for good today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember... and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past!!!
"Life is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one."
LIVE IT WELL!!!----ENJOY TODAY!!!-----DO SOMETHING FUN!!!----BE HAPPY!!!----BE THANKFUL!!! And thank God for the blessings He has given to you and blessed with many years of friends and family.

2010
Thanks for being a friend

Snow Fall in Willow Springs
These photos were taken of Willow Springs about 1:00 PM, December 19, 2009. They range from the Justice, Willow Springs Water tower at Forest Ave and High Street, to
an attractuive decidious tree in front of an evergreen, an evergreen grouping and a scene on Ravine with a home in the background and a Cook County Forest Preserve showing bushes, trees and much ground snow.
The snow and ice clung to the trees and bushes making an artist pallet of the town.
We, as Chicago, can say "As far as the weather is concerned, we never know from day to day what to expect becuase it changes every day."
These photos were taken and published by Virginia Farrell

It was only about an inch but it was beautiful. The trees and bushes looked just like winter wonderland.

SHE FORGOT TO SMELL THE ROSES

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend...
He was always
There for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see
The world, I will marry you.'
One day, Someone donated a pair of eyes to her.
When the bandages
Came off, she was able to see everything,
including her Boyfriend.
He asked Her,'Now that you can see the world,
will you marry me?'
The Girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind.
The Sight of his closed eyelids shocked her.
She hadn't expected That.
The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
Led her to refuse to marry him.
Her Boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
Saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before
They were yours, they were mine.'
This is How the human brain often works when
our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
Was always by their side in the most painful situations.
Life Is a Gift
Today
Before you say an unkind word - Think of someone
who can't speak…
Before
You complain about the taste of your food -
Think of someone Who has nothing to eat.
Before
You complain about your husband or wife -
Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion…
Today
Before you complain about life - Think of someone who went
Too early to heaven.
Before
Whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
Walks the same distance with their feet.
And when
You are tired and complain about your job -
Think of the Unemployed, the disabled, and those
who wish they had your job.
And when
Depressing thoughts seem to get you down -
Put a smile on Your face and think:
you're alive and still Around.

When the World Turns, Today
Hello again.
Seems I have a little time away from my quilting now. Just finished the 3rd one this morning. WHAT A RELIEF! Now to straighten up from all the mess I made and keep crocheting on the Bedspread. Have lots of inches to go on it yet. Need to do about 3 or more rows per day.
Today the weather outside is frightful. Saturday night and Sunday, we had about an inch of snow. For the most part it melted very soon after falling. Starting Monday night sometime during the night, started snowing again, just some flurries. Yesterday, Tuesday was a different story. Started flurries during the night Tuesday AM, then got heavier as the day progressed until last night, it had warmed up and was raining. In between the raindrops, it turned to ice and we had a nice coating of sleet on the ground. Then it snowed again and is still doing something. Don't even want to look out. I'll start sprinkling some snow & ice melt little by little so I can get to the mailbox and that will be the extent of my traverse outside.
I really hope all is well where you people live. Been watching the weather, some of you are really being hit with bad snow. Reno looked like it was half covered in snow according to some on-line pictures I saw.
Well, for now, that is all. I'm looking for an online picture of winter in my town that I took a couple of years ago. Somebody put in on a web site. See you later.
so: Merry Christmas-you can say Merry Christmas to me and I won't be offended.
Happy Hanauka to my granddaugter and her family.
To you who don't like Merry Christmas just remember, you got here somehow, not
totally by injection.

THE SLED

YOU MAY WISH ME MERRY CHRISTMAS, I WON'T BE OFFENDED.
AS THE WORLD TURNS, THERE IS STILL FAITH THAT OUR PRAYERS WILL BE ANSWERED.
From a Friend:
Sled Ride
.
It was the day after Christmas. The pastor of the church went outside to shovel the new fallen snow from the church steps. As he looked over at the nativity scene in the front of the church he suddenly noticed that the baby Jesus was missing from among the figures. Immediately he stopped shoveling and, in a slight panic, began looking around the area for the figure.
As the pastor rounded the corner of the church, he saw a little boy with a sled, and in the sled was the figure of the little baby Jesus.
So he walked up to the boy and said, "Well, where did you get Him, my fine friend?"
The little boy innocently looked up at the pastor and replied, "I got him from the church."
"And why did you take him?"
The boy said, "Well, about a week before Christmas I prayed to the little Lord Jesus and I told him if he would bring me a new sled for Christmas I would give him a ride in it."
The blessings of Jesus be with you this Christmas, New Years and always.

ANOTHER QUILT
Ah, for the joy of seeing another quilt come together. Took a few days off because my shoulders were getting tired. Guess I was getting tired also. After the Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter's home, I really was ready to stop for a few days.
We watched a movie, before I came home, about the earth. It was great! Little Animals, Medium size animals and large animals. There also were fish and birds. Whales and sharks in the sea, exotic birds in the sky and flocks and flocks of birds we couldn't recognize.

Peewee is a Jack Russell mix. Both parents were JR's but was a family situation, there fore I can't claim a true JR. She is still very pretty and the best companion I could ever have. We are both hyper, she being 10 yrs old now, I can't keep up with her. Oh, My achin'back.
Anyway, following that day, since I had straightened up my house before going there, I was tired. Was in bed before 10 and slept really good. Got up at 6 to take care of Peewee, I went back to bed. Then went back to bed, got up, had breakfast and went back to bed, got up had lunch and went back to bed, got up, had dinner and went back to bed to sleep for most of the night Friday night. Same thing Saturday but not so much sleep.
This morning, I woke up felt, acted and looked like a new person. Oh, what a little rest can do for one.
Anyway started on my 3rd quilt since September. This one is a musical theme for my oldest granddaughter. I'm looking forward to the quilt slide show when the three are finished washed and photographed. Keep watching!

Remembering "Jack"
JACK
As we headed down hyonder lane
In the old black Model-T Ford
We saw a movement in the grass
'Twas old Jack Rabbit runnin' along.
The light of the Ford followed his gait
As he went a'runnin at quite a Clip,
His ears were floppin', as his tail following last
Down that yonder lane, he went to roam.
Now this went on for 'bout a mile
Then old Jack, he started to smile.
He knew he had outrun that Ford,
He sat on the step in the church yard.
It's time, the Parson opens the door,
Jack skittered in right on the floor.
To the organ he ran, jumped upon the seat
So his long ears could keep the beat.
If you haven't seen Jack in Church,
I know why. He told me "I become invisibly."
Now, you can't really tell if this story is true,
He knows he left some fur under the pew.

Harold Estes-On Shape up or Ship Out
President Obama, this is not the time to be a smart ---, but time to start listening to the American people. WE DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU ARE DOING! JESUS TELLS US THAT ALL WHO FOLLOW HIS WORD WILL BE SAVED. THIS IS IN THE BIBLE THAT WE USE, NOT THE KORON. Whatever it is or how it is spelled, I don't care. If it is not the Word of God, it is false.
Well done/right on
This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.
Dear President Obama,
My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.
I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly
before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.
One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one,
is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.
So here goes.
I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.
I can't figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like: " We're no longer a Christian nation" "America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world,"America is mean-spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.
I'd say shame on the both of you but I don't think you like America nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.
After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her
ideals. Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War ? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII,because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around because we stand for freedom.
I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.
Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.
Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue .You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.
And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts who was putting up a fight ? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.
One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.
You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.
Sincerely,
Harold B. Estes
When a 95 year old hero of the "the Greatest Generation"
stands up and speaks out like this, I think we owe it to him to send his words to as many Americans as we can.

He Did it Again!
I just can't get over what Obama is doing. He is supposed to be a well educated man but why in the name of our peace is he doing some of the things he has done. The latest is the Gitmo project. Why not just leave them where they are? They are criminals, they are terrorists. Why bring more to us. We have enough terror in our own back yards today.
Everyday in the news, another child is shot by a gang member, or a family is killed during a burglury and robbery or a woman/girl not matter her age is raped, beaten and killed. The latest I read about was a teenager who murdered her 10 year old friend and said: "I just wanted to see what it felt like."
Are so many people in the world demon-possessed that it has become a way of life? In Luke 8:30 it is related that Jesus met a demon-possessed man. Jesus asked him his name. He replied: "Legion," full of demons.
Jesus commanded that the demons leave Legion and enter into the pigs.
Is it now time for God to command the demons to leave the human race and it be restored and filled with the Holy Spirit?
We know that He is able to do this, but they won't listen and because they don't listen the demons become stronger and stronger until all is lost.
Is Obama within the league of demons? Only God knows.

RAINY DAY

Good Morning. Between the raindrops, I decided to stay in today. Going along just fine of my Christmas Projects. Oh, if you could see them. This one is finished and as you can see, it is based on Sunbonnet Sue with her purple and yellow bonnet and dress. Yes, It's a Christmas Gift. I do make quilts to sell, this particular one would sell now for between $400.00 and $500.00 dollars. It is an individual size because of the pattern. The length is double bed and the width is just over a twin bed size.
The one I'm working on currently and expect
to finish today is based on Transformer (the good buy) It is double bed size.
to finish today is based on Transformer (the good buy) It is double bed size.Still one to go. No picture yet. It is based on a musical background. It also is double bed size.
I will be making more quilts, crib, single and double bed size when thise projects are finished.
Within the Christmas agenda, also is a crocheted bedspread. It will be 110 by 118 inches, worked in a diagonal pattern. Takes 14 skeins of yarn and lots and lots of work.

But, enough about Christmas. I got a very pleasant surprise yesterday. Had not really looked at my flower garden since the frost set almost everything in dormancy until spring. My sewing machine sets in front of a window overlooking the flower garden. When I opened the drapes yesterday, there was a beautiful yellow flower about 5 inches in diameter. Looked like a Dandelion but grows on stems that reach about 20 inches high. Spent some time looking up this mystery flower to find out it is a windflower, Rudbeckia laciniata. I haven't the slighted idea of what translates into, but they say the common name is Hawk Flower. The articles I read said is a prolific. It is so pretty, it can come up anyplace in my garden. In fact, I saved seeds from an earlier blossoming.
Read a little poem while looking for the Hawk Flower. It is lovely. A Robert Louis Stephenson adapt tation of a a child in the mother's flower garden.
As from the house your mother sees
You playing round the garden trees,
So you may see, if you will look
Through the windows of this book,
Another child, far, far away,
And in another garden, play.

So long, for today.

WHAT NEXT?
I recently read an article in a February, 1993 Reaser's Digest entitled "Is Washington for Sale?
The lead into the article states "If you need something done in our nation's capital, all you seem to have to do is spread cash around to the right people with the right connections."
This article told of instances, for example, the Gerber baby food proposition to the Agriculture Department that it's products be included in the US aid package sent to foreign countries. They were refused participation until $$$$$ sign were seen.
Gerber is not the only corporation to join the insiders group. There are lawyers, stockholders, banks and many financial institutions that are mentioned as joiners.
This article quotes: "Together, these new Washingtonians have created an ingrown world, where insiders of both political parties take care of themselves and each other, crowding out ordinary taxpayers."
ISN'T THAT THE TRUTH!
Just look at what is happening to us, the ordinary taxpayers, today. Some in Washington want to take over my health insurance. They have already taken over our tax payments, our mandates on food and it's labeling, prescription drugs and it's usage and much more. Has this been a sneaking up way of taking over our lives? They have taken prayer out of school and allowed it to be replaced with guns and knives with what they say is "ABSOLUTE PROTECTION" from those who wish to terrorise our youth.
Oh, I could go on and on, yes, there is the drug issue, the sex issue, the maritial issue, the divorce issue, the farm issue and if you can think about it, I've just skimmed the surface.
How soon will it be before we are not even safe behind our closed doors? Isn't it getting close to that now?
There is only one thing that we can do now as it is upon us that our lives will be completely controlled by a few who care more for the money they receive that there constituants.
Pray that God will enter into this battle and keep these harbinger's of the unequal rights of human being at bay.
God Bless us All!
